Where can I learn to work with wood/repair furniture in Sacramento, CA?
I'm interested in repairing furniture and/or doing DIY projects from found furniture at thrift stores, antique shops, etc, but I've never worked with wood before and I'd like to take some classes to at least get comfortable with the materials/tools involved.

Any of the Los rios community college distric (SCC, ARC, CRC) have a certificate program in Millwork/cabinetry. Go to losrios.com to learn more.
